We enjoyed a foggy frosty morning here at the farm as we prepared to welcome folks for a Christmas day open house. By 1pm the fog had burned off and the frost melted in the sunshine and we were serenaded by drops off water cascading off the trees like rain. It was not very " Christmassy" but it was beautiful. The obligatory farm tour for guests was an extremely muddy affair but what can you expect when it's 50 degrees in December?
